On to bigger and better things!

While September has brought us a fantastic new group of volunteers, we're also losing two incredible staff members: Volunteer Coordinator Hour Sopheap and weekday volunteer house chef Lay Sreypov.

Weekday volunteer house chef Lay Sreypov

Sopheap joined CWF in 2006 and worked tirelessly to recruit volunteers and ensure their experience of Cambodia was easy, enjoyable, and culturally fulfilling. Sopheap lived and breathed (and often dreamed about) her role, and it's hard to imagine CWF without her.

Sreypov has been the chef at the volunteer house since early 2008, and has certainly pleased many a volunteer tastebud with her homestyle country cooking. Her Khmer curries and Tom Yam soup were favourites for many. She is returning to Kampong Thom to start a small clothing business.

CWF wish both Sopheap and Sreypov the best of luck in their future endeavours, and we hope they stay in touch!
